Final thoughts on this week’s reading, “How Should the Teacher of God Spend His Day?” Have I heard your insights yet? I’d love to!

Paragraph 7 – How simply and how easily does time slip by for the teacher of God who has accepted His protection!… He has a Guide Who will not fail. He need make no distinctions among the problems he perceives, for He to Whom he turns with all of them recognizes no order of difficulty in resolving them.

When I am in the flow of Holy Spirit, then all is easy and even fun. As I prepared for our new class that started last evening, “God Talks to Me?”, at first there was so much in my thoughts of what I wanted to offer and portray in the class. I had minor challenges at first in pulling the agenda together then I had an aha! moment after speaking with Rev. Gayle one day. The whole idea is about flow. That’s the premise of the class. Not to be concerned with the future or what I have done before but be in the flow. A different outline came to me, still with the ideas that I had received some time ago, but looser in in its feel. And after last night, it was quite a success. I look forward to joining with the full class of students next week.

When I trust and have faith, all is resolved and I am at peace. It really is that easy.

Paragraph 8 – Yet there will be temptations along the way the teacher of God has yet to travel, and he has need of reminding himself throughout the day of his protection.

I know I had the temptation of the class being absolutely perfect according to my terms. However, I could not have predicted how perfect it actually came to be! As I look toward the next session I can feel at ease with the process. I do not have to make decisions by myself, hell, the class is about accessing Inner Guidance! I’ll be looking forward to working one on one with students who will take the class as an online mentored class as I complete each week’s video.

Paragraph 9 – For all temptation is nothing more than the attempt to substitute another will for God’s…For magic of any kind, in all its forms, simply does nothing.

Paragraph 10 – Perhaps he needs to remember, “God is with me.

Paragraph 11 – All through their training, every day and every hour, and even every minute and second, must God’s teachers learn to recognize the forms of magic and perceive their meaninglessness. Fear is withdrawn from them, and so they go. And thus the gate of Heaven is reopened, and its light can shine again on an untroubled mind.

When I do anything according to my standards then I am following my will. When I stop being so short-sighted and open myself to the larger experience, then I can walk the way of God. It doesn’t have to be “I want it thus!” It can be instead God’s will, which happens to be happiness. This doesn’t have to be a hard journey yet instead a happy one.

I do not have to become so focused on “form”. All form is magic, from medicine, to clothes, to writing this post, to breathing, to talking with others, to meditation, to watching TV, to Facebook, to sunrises, to disasters, and so on. Anything in this world is magic. Yet, temptation is there to believe that one form is greater or lesser than another. It all is illusion. Yet, I still am firmly rooted in believing in this body as I seem to wake up every morning and experience it as such. So, do what I need to do in form, yet remember that I can have that thought of God with me as I do so. The form is meaningless and the content in my mind is what is meaningful. I deal with it as it comes. I remember God and that is how to continue to be happy each and every day.

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
