This lesson helps me to see exactly as Jesus tells us, “you will become increasingly aware that a slight twinge of annoyance is nothing but a veil drawn over intense fury.” I have witnessed this within myself. I may seem slightly annoyed with something or someone, then powder keg explosives! This is why it is important to practice with even the so-called “little thoughts” of anger. We know not what they are about. Yet these attack thoughts are attacking our very nature and our connection with God. It may not seem that way when the situation seems warranted, i.e. someone calls you a name, or you get into a car accident. Underneath is something more nebulous.
By giving your best to the practice of this lesson today, your determination and resolve will become stronger and stronger. Use it every time you feel that twinge and you will be grateful in the end.
P.S. Did you know we recorded audios for each of the lessons? There is a meditation practice, a “Key” to the Lesson to help your practice and our “Divine Message” when Rev. Paul and I journaled through the lessons some time back. See the Workbook for Students link.
