Love is love and it is of God. Love is all. Love is one. I cannot know it through attachment as the ego would see it. I would only know it by opening my mind to the eternal love within. I know in my life I have searched for love relentlessly and thought it found in relationships. It could be my multiple marriages or friends, family, or others. Always finding to have been later been abused, ridiculed, or used. I would feel betrayal, dishonesty and disloyalty in those who I trusted my heart.
Yet here in the world I will never find true loyalty or true love. I will only find this and more in God. As I take the steps indicated in this lesson and rest in God for 15 minutes at a time, I will know more than before. Is it too much to ask that I take the time to call to Him assured He will answer? The spark of truth is there in my mind and I like that imagery. I use it in teaching others as I continue to teach myself.
I do not know what Love is. I can give up all I thought and allow Him to teach me as I sit in deep silence with Him. When I do, I know, I feel and I experience His Love for me.
