Greetings Mighty Companions!
Within this Miracle Toolbox video recording we continue our examination of the forgiveness chapter within the Song of Prayer. In section II. Forgiveness-to-Destroy, Jesus gives us four examples of false forms of forgiveness that many cultures practice on a regular basis. They include: the “better” person who stoops to help a “lesser” person, the person who forgives another but does not claim to be better because both are sinners and should be punished by God, the person who quietly suffers in silent proof of their guilt, and the person who forgives if another will meet their demands or needs.
Unfortunately, these and many other false forms of forgiveness are deeply rooted in cultures all over the world. This is why we need the Holy Spirit’s breaker bar to loosen the tight lug nuts from our minds. Once removed, the worn tires of anger, condemnation and hatred can also be removed to reveal the sinless face of Christ beneath. Remember, Jesus is teaching us the true meaning and what the experience of forgiveness really is – the wonderful perception of our inner light during meditation practice. In the moment that the light is revealed to us, we also receive a gift of understanding that the light we perceive is our light as Sons and Daughters of God. We also recognize that it is the same light in everyone else and, again, it is a reflection of our true selves as we were created by God.
In addition to Holy Spirit’s breaker bar, another tool that we can add to our Miracle Toolboxes this week is Lesson 69. My grievances hide the light of the world in me. Within this lesson, Jesus provides us with a guided meditation that helps us to walk through imaginary clouds to a light beyond. This meditation has the potential to bring forth a very powerful experience of perceiving a sudden flash of light within the mind. I assure you that you will not regret the effort and practice put into this meditation. It will payoff sooner or later!
Many Blessings from the Light,
